Although Summer was slow, the WOz team was working on plans, and the adult end of the design team got together yesterday for our first major planning meeting. In all my years of school productions it was one of the most exciting planning sessions we have ever had. Just wait until you see our ideas for Toto and the Cowardly Lion!
We're hoping to add some amazing puppetry (a la the AMAZING Julie Taymore) to the show, so there will be lots of roles for students.
Scheduling is also underway, so the full production schedule ought to be posted by early next week. I'm also hoping to pry some set and costume sketches from Mr. Kline to share soon.
